PSY 309 Results - Cortisol and Testosterone assays



Cortisol is a stress hormone. People higher in baseline cortisol tend to be higher in neuroticism, experience more stress, and react more acutely to stressors.


Testosterone is a hormone that has been shown to be related to dominance, assertiveness, competititiveness, and agression. People higher in testosterone tend to be higher on these traits. In general, men have much higher levels of testosterone than women.
